Brian Francis Kenney, 66, Buford, Georgia, passed on January 26th, 2021 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
Brian was born July 10, 1954, in Dublin Ireland. Adopted by Edward and Virginia as a toddler, he was raised in Bernardsville, New Jersey.
Brian graduated from Bernardsville High School and then attended Somerset Hills Institute of Technology, which he made acronym jokes about constantly. Brian, an Air Force Veteran, served his country for 8 years as a Fuel Systems Inspector in Colorado and Alaska. Upon retiring from the military, Brian continued in the same field, at Dobbins Air Force Base, in Marietta Georgia.
Brian was an avid sports fan, enjoying cheering on the Buford Wolves and the Atlanta Hawks. Brian loved a good practical joke. Brian was a member of “The Fifty States Club” and encouraged others to travel and enjoy the beauty of America. Brian’s Raging Stallion Travel Agency was helping friends and family members with travel up until the week of his death. He loved traveling with his family, especially to Vegas. Bowling was a passion along with the friends he made in the sport. He remained active in bowling to the end when health interfered.
Brian is survived by his loving wife, of 34 years, Pamela Littleton Kenney, and his beloved daughter, Ashley Marie Hausman and her husband, Daniel Hausman of Buford, his sister, Ellen Gothman of Las Vegas, his mother-in-law, Virginia Littleton of Dacula, and several brothers and sisters-in-law; Shannon & Joe Senna of Jacksonville, Kimberly & Dr. Michael Topper of Greensboro, Cindy & Emory Montgomery of Dacula, Michael & Starla Littleton of Lilburn, Paige & David Steen of Arden NC, and Adam & Andrea Littleton of Dacula. Brian leaves behind 7 nieces & 7 nephews and 8 grand nieces & nephews and his many dear friends within the community.
Brian was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Virginia Kenney, his father-in-law Joseph Robert Littleton, brother Thomas Kenney, and his brother-in-law Rick Gotham. We also will be mourning the loss of Brian`s brother, Thomas Benedict Kenney. Thomas was a lifelong resident of New Jersey. He made his life career at Bernardsville Library and was faithful to the Catholic Church.
