Brian F. Schmidt, age 52 of Wilton , died on July 7, 2011 at Stamford Hospital. Born in Jersey City, NJ, the son of the late John and Elizabeth (Long) Schmidt, he was the beloved husband of Susanne (Heytmeijer) Schmidt for 20 years. A graduate of Marist College, Brian worked as a managing director of U.S. Retail.
Brian enjoyed golfing and travelling to St. John with his family, as well as hanging out with his many friends.
In addition to his wife Susanne, he is survived by his loving children; Kyle Elizabeth Schmidt and Christian Xavier Schmidt, sisters-in-law, Bonnie Schmidt and Jeanne Dunn, as well as his niece and nephew Brittney and Braaden Schmidt.
