Brian A. Rogers, age 79, died September 30, 2017 in Greensboro, Georgia.  He was born in Brooklyn, NY on May, 29, 1938, the son of the late Brian B. Rogers and Emma Langhorne Rogers. He graduated Xavier High School in New York City and attended St. Peter’s College and Fordham University before beginning a career on Wall Street in Investment Banking.  He specialized in municipal bonds and in 1976 formed his own firm of Rogers & LAMB, headquartered in Morristown, NJ. He was a member of the Municipal Bond Group of the Shawnee Indians and also a member of the Men’s Golf Association at Reynolds and played in various groups. On July 12, 1969 he married the former Alpha Lupoletti. After retiring in 1989, he established 2 restaurants on Hilton Head, SC, Brian’s and Il Cappuccino.  In 2000, he and his wife, Alpha Lupoletti Rogers moved to Greensboro, Ga where they both enjoyed golf, the lake and the social life.

Surviving are his wife of 48 years, Alpha, at home; his daughter Kristen Rogers O’Rourke and her husband Shawn of Colorado Springs, CO; his son Brian J. Rogers and his wife, Jodi, of Boca Raton, FL; his granddaughter, Opal Lily O’Rourke; grandsons, Calvin Finn O’Rourke and Caden Stone Rogers.  He was predeceased by his brother, Kevin Rogers and his two sisters, Kathleen Rogers Weir and Nancy Rogers.
