Brian Alan Walden, 41, of Cedar Point, passed away Saturday, March 3, 2018 at his home. Mr. Walden was born March 19, 1976 in Peru to Jack and Jo Anne (Witek) Walden. Mr. Walden attended Illinois Valley Community College, studying auto mechanics and electricity.
He was previously employed in construction and at Eakas Corportation. He most recently worked at Midwest Fuel Injection. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, boating, nature and riding his motorcycle. He also enjoyed reading and talking about the Bible. He loved listening to Johnny Cash. He was a former member of the Knights of Columbus and Pheasants Unlimited.
Survivors include his mother, Jo Anne Walden of Cedar Point; his sister, Tammy LaGow of LaSalle; his nephew, Nicholas “Nick” LaGow; aunts and uncles, Dave and Moira Witek of Peru, Dr. Linda and Dr. Alan Janusek of Western Springs and Inez Hyde, Helen Benfield, Steve Walden and Becky Egert all of Georgia and numerous cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Walden; his maternal grandparents, Ladislaus “Honey” and Mary (Brongel) Witek and his paternal grandparents, James and Bess (Hall) Walden and numerous aunts and uncles.
