Brett A. Dees, 56, of Bloomington passed away peacefully at his home January 8, 2018.
Born, October 23, 1961 in Chicago, Illinois, he was the son of William Archie and Sandra (Pitzer) Dees.
Brett was a lifelong resident of Bloomington and a member of St. Marks United Methodist Church.
He was a 1980 graduate of Bloomington High School North where he enjoyed playing basketball from 1977-1980. He also attended Indiana University.
After college Brett joined his father’s business, Monroe Satellite where he worked as a Licensed Technician and Installer. He also was a construction worker for Ralph Rogers Company.
Brett was an avid fan of Indiana University Basketball especially in the Bob Knight era.
He was electronically intelligent always enjoying spending time on his I-Pad and I-Phone.
Survivors include his daughter, Talyr Dees, his mother, Sandra Dees, one sister, Lori Dees Johnson (Rusty), one brother, Eric Dees, six dear nieces and nephews, Cooper Dees, Lyndsey, Megan, Meredith, Jackson, and Justice Johnson all of Bloomington, and several aunts, and uncles.
Brett was preceded in death by his loving father William Archie Dees (April 4, 2016) and his grandparents, William Archie and Nina (Sweat) Dees, and Lendores and Eileen (Mason) Pitzer.
