Brennan Daniel Fanning, 19, died Monday, January 19, 2015, in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne. He was born in Marion, the son of Daniel and Amy (Holcombe) Fanning. A life-long resident of Upland, Brennan attended Eastbrook High School.
He enjoyed listening to music, skateboarding, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his son. He was employed with Butterworth Industries, Gas City, Grant Blackford Heating and Plumbing, and Dan’s Sewer and Drain, Upland.
Survivors include his parents, Daniel and Amy Fanning, Upland; his son, Bryson Richard Lee Fanning, at home; fianc, Tori Flanigan, Marion; a sister, Christy R. Rumfelt, Matthews; two nephews, Allen and Alex Rumfelt, Matthews; paternal grandmother, Bernice Fanning, Upland; maternal grandmother, June Holcombe, Hartford City; several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Edwin Holcombe and Ronald Fanning.
