Brenden Michael Rogers, 13, passed away December 6, 2014. Brenden was born February 28, 2001 in Modesto, CA to Angela Broberg.
Brenden was an 8th grader at North Jr. High in Boise, Idaho. He never wanted to be inside. He loved skateboarding, hanging out with his friends, playing guitar and drawing. Brenden’s friends described him as an amazing, loyal friend, which had a great sense of humor and always knew how to cheer others up. His love for skateboarding led him to place in every skateboarding competition he entered. He was in the process of making skateboarding a sport at North Jr. High School. Brenden was a talented young musician and was in the process of learning “3 AM” by Matchbox 20 on his guitar. He was a friend to the neighborhood and always looked for ways to help others out. Brenden was full of life and energy. He was always independent and determined to do things his own way. His passion to live each day to the fullest will not be forgotten.
Brenden was associated with the Boys and Girls Club and City Light’s Little Lights Club.
He is survived by: his mom, Angela; stepdad Alessandro; brothers; Tyrone and Isaiah; sister, Shanti; Grandma Cindy; Grandfather Keith “Papa” of Modesto, CA; Grandmother Diana “Nana” of Modesto, CA; Aunt Jessy “D”; Erica; and cousin Trey.
