The Journey
Brenda Smith accepted Christ at an early age at Hopewell P.B.
Brenda worked at Aldens Inc as an IBM Check Encoder for more than eight years. After Alden’s, Brenda enjoyed working but devoted her time to raising her two daughters. Ready to enter the workforce once again, Brenda gained employment at Levy Home Entertainment in Hillside. She worked as a Production Leader and Union Representative.
The Family
Brenda and John Smith (Jerry) were blessed with two beautiful daughters: Thondalah (Tonnie) and Kashune Smith. John preceded her in death.
Brenda began her new journey on Tuesday, June 21, 2022. She leaves to cherish: her two daughters, Thondalah (Tonnie) and Kashune Smith; three sisters: Dorothy Jean Howard, Dianne B. Morris (James) and Linda Cammon (preceded in death) (Michael); one brother, Delmar (Smoke) Patton; nine nieces and nephews: LaRhonda Chatims (Darren), Eunice Patton, Benetrice Whitfield, Telly Cammon (Veronica), Dushune Howard (Darice), Euneen Howard, Daniel Whitfield, Kendall Patton and Ladale Patton; and a host of great nieces and nephews. Also celebrating her memories are a host of cousins and friends.
