Brenda Sivell of Lanett, AL, formerly of LaGrange, GA, passed away on August 10, 2022 at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika.
Mrs. Sivell was born to Lewis and Estelle McClurg on February 21, 1948 in Lagrange, GA. She was a graduate of LaGrange High School, University of Georgia, and Columbus State University. She was a beloved elementary school teacher of over 28 years with the Muscogee County School System and the Troup County School System. Mrs. Sivell loved to travel and spend time with her family. She was a loving mother and grandmother who had a kind, giving spirit.
Mrs. Sivell leaves behind two children, Beth (Jason) Grant of Five Points, AL and Benji Sivell of Lanett, AL; her grandchildren AJ, Bo, Autumn, & Luke Grant and Nevaeh and AJ Sivell; her sister, Kay (Jim) Penny of Chattanooga, TN.
