Brenda S. Walkowski, 70, of South Bend, Indiana passed away at 3:02 p.m. Wednesday, March 30, 2022 in St. Joseph Regional Medical Center. Brenda was born on March 12, 1952 in South Bend to Leonard and Maxine (Chandonia) Watkins. On April 3, 1970, in South Bend, she married Thomas A. Walkowski, who preceded her in death on July 31, 2020. She was also preceded in death by her parents; and one sister, Judy Onderdonk. Brenda is survived by her son, Thomas (Sherri) Walkowski of South Bend, Indiana; three grandchildren, Christopher (Krystal) Walkowski, Andrew (Tyeshea) Walkowski and Lucas Walkowski; five great-grandchildren, Jade, Cayden, Colton, Madison and Makenna; and her sister, Cindy Appleby of Indianapolis, Indiana.
