Brenda S. Martin, 58, of Bethlehem, passed away on December 28, 2011 in Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg. Born in Allentown she was the daughter of the late John V. and Arline K. (Hilbert) Martin. She earned her MS in Dental Hygiene from Columbia University, and was the Clinic Coordinator of the Dental Hygiene Program at Montgomery County Community College for many years. She was a faculty member at the Community College of Philadelphia, Manor Junior College, Forsyth School for Dental Hygienists, Thomas Jefferson University, Harcum Junior College, University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry, and Northampton County Community College. Brenda was professionally licensed in Pennsylvania, Nebraska, and Massachusetts. She enjoyed being a Musikfest volunteer and site supervisor, and was an avid cook and gardener. Survivors: brother, John V. Martin, Jr. and his wife Jane of Saylorsburg; nephew, Kevin Martin and his wife Lisa and children Emma and Keegan; niece, Lisa Holeva and her husband Daryl and daughter Kiley of NH; and her faithful golden retriever, Brussie.
