Brenda Pressley Rabenold, 60, of Plainville, passed away surrounded by her family on Thursday, April 12, 2012 at Hartford Hospital.  She was the beloved wife of Edward Rabenold.

Brenda was born in Kingstree, SC on January 17, 1952, the youngest of three children to the late Bobby Pressley, Sr. and Rosa Lee Ward Pressley.  Raised in Kingstree, she was a 1970 graduate of Tomlinson High School, and went on to work in the pharmaceutical industry for Baxter Travenol.  Moving to Boston in the 1980’s, she then did clerical work at MIT.  Brenda relocated to Plainville upon her marriage to Edward in 1990, sharing 22 wonderful years together.  Shortly before getting married, she graduated from the Bryman School as a dental assistant, and went on to work in that profession throughout Connecticut.  Known for her vast intellect, she had a love for photography, working in the yard gardening, and sewing.  Her greatest passion was sharing her strong faith and spreading the words of Jehovah.  Brenda will be greatly missed by her family and the many friends who were blessed to have known her.

In addition to her husband, Edward, she leaves her son, Randy J. McFadden of Easley, SC; her sister, Mary E. Pressley of Kingstree, SC; her granddaughter, Arcierie T. McFadden of Columbia, SC; and her nieces, Eulanda P. Smith and her husband, Gregory; Lisa M. Pressley, and Erica Pressley, all of PA.  She was predeceased by her son, Bobby Pressley, III; and her brother, Bobby Pressley, Jr.

Family and friends may gather on Wednesday evening, from 6-8 p.m.
