She was preceded in death by her parents, Bud and Every Mae Johnson, and brother, Jerry Martin.
Ms. Long is survived by children, Lisa and Michael Compton, Johns Creek, GA, Brad, and Amy Long, Hoschton, GA, Marc and Jennifer Long, Jefferson, GA, Kevin Long, Elberton, GA; grandchildren, Jordan Compton, Kyle Compton, Amberly Long, Addisyn Mae Long, Emily Long, Ella Long; brother, Buddy (Myrtle) Johnson, Hoschton, GA; sister, Diane Johnson Thompson, Pendergrass, GA; and aunt, Lois Stewart, Buford, GA.
Ms. Long was born on February 23, 1946, in Buford, GA.
She was a 1964 graduate of Buford High School, and she was a retired secretary for Whitaker and Associates. Ms. Long was of the Baptist faith.
