     Brenda M.  McAllister, 62, of Williamsport, passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at UPMC Susquehanna Williamsport. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde I. McAllister.

     Born July 3, 1957 in Trenton NJ, she was a daughter of the late Robert “Bobbie” and Doris (Stafford) Butler.  

     Brenda was a 1975 graduate of Trenton Central High School. She worked as a Housing Specialist for Lycoming – Clinton Joinder for over 25 years, where she loved her job immensely. She was a member of New Covenant Full Gospel Church.

     Brenda enjoyed wildlife, planting, wearing jewelry, comedy, crocheting, and quilting. She had a special place in her heart for animals, especially African animals and her dogs and birds. She loved the summer heat, spending time outdoors, and listening to all music by the Queen B. Brenda was a loyal and REAL person with a beautiful heart. She loved helping people and lived her life through her family and children.

     Surviving are her children, Clyde I. McAllister II, Curtis I. McAllister, and Tamika A. Burks, all of Williamsport; 3 grandchildren, Deqwan Stafford, Nazeer Burks, and Shyeem Short;great grandchildren, NeQwan, Quaniyah, Zhane, and QuanAsia ; sisters, Doreen White, of Williamsport and Lana Walker, of Miami, FL; nieces and nephews, Velton J. Stafford, Nija D. Stafford, Shawanna Moore,Lakeysha Barnes and Javarus Garmon; cousin, Joy Butler; childhood friend, Theresa Ross, of NJ; and many loved nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

     In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her children, Darryl K. Stafford and Waseema A. Stafford.
