Brenda Lou Garner, 69, of Elkhart, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2013, at Golden Living Center in Elkhart. May 30, 1944 – Aug. 13, 2013. She was born May 30, 1944, in Borger, Texas, to Charles and Helen (DeGraff) Diese. On July 4, 2002, she married the late Patrick B. Garner in Elkhart. He passed away Nov. 15, 2005.
Survivors include a half-sister, Linda Jones of Idaho Falls, Idaho; half-brother Charles Ray (Elizabeth) Diese of Abilene, Texas; stepbrother Ronnie (Charlotte) Diese of Westbrook, Texas; stepson Brian (Lisa) Garner of Elkhart; three grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; special friends Lester Holley of Elkhart and Terry and Diana Staley, both of Elkhart.
