Brenda J. Nave, 74, of Meredosia, passed away Saturday, Sept. 11, 2021, at her home surrounded by family and friends.
She was born March 6, 1947, in Pittsfield, the daughter of John and Mae Watson Vannatta. She married Vernon L. Nave, Sr. on Aug. 28, 1992, in Jacksonville, and he preceded her in death on Jan. 5, 2015.
She is survived by two sons and one daughter, Ron Carlin of Meredosia, John Carlin of Concord, and Misty (Brian) Nave of Crocker, MO; two stepsons, Phillip and Vernon Nave, Jr., both of Park Hills, MO; two stepdaughters, Kathy Brooks, and Kristy (Marty) Hollinrake, all of Colorado Springs, CO; and one brother, Pete (Patti) Vannatta. She is also survived and loved by many grandkids, great grandkids, family, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mae; a great-granddaughter, Rylee Ann Renae Vinyard; two great grandsons, Ronald Wesley and Bradee Jo; and many more.
Brenda loved going to garage sales, the St. Louis Cardinals, hummingbirds, the color purple, and being with family and friends.
