Brenda F. Parks, 70, passed away on Monday, May 6, 2013, at Arbor Grove Village in Greensburg.
Born, April 18, 1943 in Frankfort, KY, she was the daughter of Albert and Luna (Dalton) Onan.
Brenda graduated from high school and went on to Beauty College in Frankfort.
She worked as a beautician for many years. She also worked for Knauf Fiberglass in Shelbyville. She was one of the best pool players around.
Brenda married Charlie Parks in 1983 and he preceded her in death in 1999.
She is survived by 3 sons; Charles (Tina) Skaggs, Liberal, Kansas, Shawn Skaggs, Indianapolis, Donald Baum, Kentucky, 2 daughters; Betty (James) Slavey, Shelbyville, Gemia (Eddie) See, Michigan, 1 sister; Carolyn Tinsley, Frankfort, KY, 17 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother; Donald Onan, and 2 sisters; Betty Gartin and Dottie Onan.
