Brenda Caudell, 68, of Fortville, IN passed away July 23, 2015 at IU Hospital North in Carmel after a long, hard-fought battle with cancer. She was born June 24, 1947 in New Castle to the late Jessie J. and Lucille (Bertram) Morris and was a 1965 graduate of Mt. Vernon High School.
She graduated from Indiana Central Business College and was a member of the Metropolitan Indianapolis Board of Realtors and American Legion Auxiliary Post 391. Brenda had worked as a clerk for the U.S. Postal Service and was also a homemaker. She is survived by her husband Franklin D. Caudell, whom she married on April 30, 1965; son Jamie (Penny) Caudell and daughter Holly (David) Evers, both of McCordsville; grandchildren Kirstin Caudell and Noah Evers; brother Don (Zelda) Morris of Somerset, KY; and nephew Mike Morris of Fortville. She was preceded in death by niece Leslie J. Morris. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at IU Hospital Cancer Center.
