Brandon Archer Davisson, 19, of Anderson, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on October 14, 2021. He was born on November 30, 2001, in Kissimmee, Florida, and resided most of his life in Anderson, Indiana.

Brandon graduated from Anderson High School in 2021. He was attending Ivy Tech to pursue a career in the culinary arts. He dreamed of opening up his own steak house where he would serve the best food. He attended First Presbyterian Church in Anderson where he was baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. During his time at First Presbyterian, he enjoyed playing the bells and attending Sunday school.

Brandon from a very young age earned the nickname “cowboy” because he loved to run around with his Western boots and hat. He loved spending time at Disney with his family while they lived in Florida. Throughout his life, Brandon was very proud of his Colombian heritage and enjoyed eating empanadas and drinking his favorite soft drink “Colombiana”.

Brandon loved playing golf and found this love through his Grandpa Dan. Brandon enjoyed many past times including computers, playing Ping-Pong with his brothers, spending time with his friends, and taking care of his beloved cats: Specka, Buddy, Leo, and Boogie.

Brandon fell in love with the world of Star Wars; you could always see him sporting his new Star Wars shirt and his room was filled with posters of the Jedi world. Brandon held a special place in his heart for his grandparents, Delores Gerlach (great-grandma), his Belo and Bela, Luis and Zunilda Cuadros (Colombian grandparents), and Grandpa Dan and Grandma Janie. He was always thrilled and loved to be in their company.

Brandon had a very close relationship with his two older brothers, Daniel and Ryker. He went through everything with them and had a strong bond that will last forever. His brothers are proud of the man he had become and they will love him forever.

Brandon loved his parents, Steven and Sandra. Brandon was Steven and Sandra’s youngest child. Because of this placement in the family tree, Brandon and his parents shared a special bond and love that was like no other.

Brandon enjoyed surprising his mom and dad with drinks, food, and their favorite candy bars on his way home from school. Brandon loved spending time with his parents laughing and talking for hours in the hot tub, at family dinners, while helping in the family garden, and on fun trips that the trio would take. Brandon’s father and mother love him very much and always will.

Brandon was devoted to helping run the family business, the Train Stop Deli, located in Anderson. Brandon took to the family business quickly, learned all aspects of running the Deli, and developed his love for serving the best food. Frequent family trips to Lake Lemon, searching the Davisson Farm for arrowheads, watching countless movies with the family, and hour-long family games of poker and monopoly were moments that Brandon cherished.

Brandon had many other interests that shaped who he was. In addition to his love of cats, Brandon developed a love for sea life and reptiles. He was the proud owner of several turtles, one of which is now over ten years old.

Brandon loved to build and collect Legos, and he would always be happy to see what the next exciting build would be. Like his father and brothers, Brandon played saxophone at school and played in the jazz band. Brandon also played the guitar and guitar class at school became his favorite part of the day.

Brandon loved the outdoors, capturing its beauty through photography, and always loved a good bonfire with his friends and family. He was a deep thinker who, with his parents, brothers, family, and friends would sit and talk about life, the future, and the wonders of God for hours and hours at a time. He loved Jesus and was excited for the Hope that Jesus brings. Over the last year and a half, Brandon and his family spent a lot of time together and they all are grateful for how close they have become.
