Bradley P. Byrd, 66, of Churubusco, passed away on July 20, 2019, at Memorial Hospital in South Bend.
Born in Fort Wayne, on November 4, 1952, to the late Wayne and Naomi (Phillips) Byrd. He spent his formative years in Churubusco, graduating from East Noble High School. He graduated from the University of West Georgia with a B.A. in psychology, where he also played baseball.
In 1970, he was a “Who’s Who” in American High School Sports. In 1979, he participated in the Battered Boot for the March of Dimes in Douglas, Georgia.
Bradley is survived by a brother-in-law, Jim Schenher; four nephews; three nieces; several great-nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and twin sisters, Georgia Schenher and Torchia Fry.
