Bradley “Brad” Scott Evans, age 62, of Bloomington, Indiana passed away at IU Health Bloomington Hospital on Sunday, January 2, 2021.
Brad was born on February 18, 1959 in Port St. Joe, Florida to Jack and Elsie (Marlin) Evans. Brad followed his family into the construction industry. Out of high school, he went to work for RH Marlin Equipment Company as an oiler, and later as a crane operator. He also worked for Newton Crane and Maxim Crane Works as a dispatcher and as a salesman. He spent the last 15 years as owner of J&E Demolition working side by side with his son, Jared.
Brad was a lifelong member of Little Union Baptist Church in Unionville. Brad was the foundation of his family, and lived for his grandchildren. He loved them more than life, and spent every second with them that he could. He was a very caring and generous person, and would do anything for anyone.
Brad was full of good stories, and always enjoyed sharing them.
Brad is survived by his, wife, Luann (Spicer) Evans, son, Jared Evans, daughter, Kacey (Evans) Barrow, grandchildren, Brayden and Shea Barrow, Colton and Jaxon Evans, and Hunter Wood, sisters, Elaine (Evans) Prince and Peggy (Evans) Dick, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
