Boyd K. Pettite 66 of Newnan, GA passed away Sunday, April 9, 2017 at Piedmont Fayette Hospital. He was born May 10, 1950 in Newnan, GA. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Newnan, he retired after 30 years of service to Graphic Packaging and was working for Eaton Cooper Lighting for the last 14 years. Boyd loved hunting, fishing, camping and spoiling his girls.
He was preceded in death by his father, Aron Pettite; step-father, Ray Windom; step-sister, Pat Davis; father-in-law, Horace E. Bass and two infant sons.
He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Amanda Bass Pettite; children, Brian (Kendra) Pettite, Ginger (Kenny) Pettite Fetter, Katherine “Katie” Pettite and Karlee Pettite; brother, Mark (Shirley) Pettite; mother, Wynell Smith Windom; mother-in-law, Jane Hamby Bass; brothers-in-law, Blake (Lila) Bass, Mark (Alice) Bass, Brent (Elizabeth) Bass; grandchildren, Danny and Dale Cole; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
