Bonnie O. Mardi, 73, of Ponca, Nebraska, and formerly of Wiota, Iowa, passed away Friday, July 21, 2006, at the Elms Health Care Center in Ponca.
Bonnie Opal Mardi was born August 5, 1932, in Wiota, Iowa, the daughter of Otis and Hyla (Robertson) Smith.
She graduated from the Wiota High School and moved to Omaha, Nebraska where she was married and worked for the Mutual of Omaha Insurance Company. Bonnie lived in several other Nebraska towns before retiring to Ponca.
She was of the Methodist faith.
