Bonnie Mae Kinney Stephenson, 72, Anderson, died October 16, 2007, at Community Hospital, Anderson after an extended illness.
She was born April 8, 1935, in Indianapolis, and resided in Anderson since 1973. She was a homemaker and a daycare provider. Bonnie was a loving mother and caring grandmother. She was a member of Glad Tidings Assembly of God and the R.O.T.C. while in high school. She is survived by her husband Leroy Stephenson whom she married on October 26, 1968. Children: Michael Phyllis Wilson of Alexandria, Lisa Joey Auler, and Liz Wayne Short both of Anderson.
Also, surviving are ten grandchildren: Ashley Trevor Dailey, Jamie Edwards, Billy Edwards, Blake Cody, Amber Sky Estes, Britney Joe Wilson-Hollen, Meghan Chad Zook, Mike Lewis, Joey Nicole Henderson, and Barbara Shawn Sutherland. She also is survived by seven great-grandchildren. A special thank you for all the prayers and support from all her friends and church family. An extra thanks to the Anderson Fire Department for all their wonderful help, Dr. Juthani, and St. John’s Continuing Care and Home Health.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Eva and Herbert Kinney. Her sisters: Ruth Roth, Nancy Smith, and Betty Butler.
