Bonnie M. Cozat, age 82 of Coleman died Monday, March 24, 2014, at her home surrounded by her loving family.
The daughter of the late Charles W. and Pearl (Morse) Koontz was born on June 11, 1931, in Coleman where she was raised and educated. On February 23, 1948, she married Melvin E. Cozat in Kentucky. After 64 years of marriage, he predeceased her on June 16, 2012.
Bonnie worked as a cosmetologist for twenty-five years prior to managing the Coleman Laundry Land for twenty-two years, retiring in October 2013. She enjoyed cooking, and baking and was an avid shopper. Her family was very important to her and she enjoyed being with them.
Mrs. Cozat is survived by her son, Melvin J. (Kathy) Cozat of Coleman, and her daughter, Wanda (Dennis) Lewis of Coleman. She will also be missed by her grandchildren, Corey (Angela) Lewis, Shannon (Jeff) Zietz, Heather (Jesse) Stillwell, Melvin Charles Cozat; great-grandchildren Alexis & Brody Zietz, Makayla Stillwell, Landon Lewis, and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her siblings Velma, George, Robert, Myrtle, Ardis, Ruth, Charles, Marion, and Richard.
