Bonnie Louise McWhorter Duvall of the Greshamville Community, passed away Saturday, January 18, 2020 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was 61. A lifelong resident of Greensboro, she was born November 4, 1958 to the late Charlotte Maureen Culberson McWhorter and James Hamilton “Hamp” McWhorter. She graduated from Nathanael Greene Academy in 1976 and was a graduate of the University of Georgia. On August 12, 1979, she married Vincent Mearl “Zippy” Duvall, Sr. Bonnie worked with her husband on the family farm where they raised their four children.
Survivors include her husband of forty years, Vincent Mearl “Zippy” Duvall, Sr. of the Greshamville Community; children, Lt. Colonel Vincent Mearl “Vince” Duvall, Jr. (Erin) of Acworth, GA, Cora “Corrie” Terry (Jared) of Huntsville, AL, Zeb Duvall (Katie) of Buckhead, GA, and Zellie Duvall of Washington, DC; grandchildren, Ava Duvall, Vincent Mearl “Tripp” Duvall III, Savannah Duvall, Jocee Terry, and Gus Terry; sister, Hannah Baynes (Scott) of Greensboro, GA; a host of other relatives and many friends. In addition to her mother and father, she was preceded in death by her stepmother, Betty Carr Dickens McWhorter.
