Bonnie Lou Nemecek, 70, of Lake McConaughy, Nebraska, passed peacefully away surrounded by her family on March 1st, 2023.

Bonnie was born on June 9th, 1952 to Charles and Fairy (Tolle) Myers in Kearney, Nebraska. She grew up and graduated from Elm Creek High School in 1970 where she excelled at volleyball, cheerleading and track. She married Jerry Hiltibrand in 1970 and went on to have two children, Jason and Jodi.  Bonnie began her career with UPS starting out as a semi driver, delivery driver, human resources manager and ultimately managing UPS centers for the remainder of her 11 years with the company.

She went on to be entrepreneurial within the community, including Sound Rig, Elite Sports, Cheers Bar & Grill, Bayside Villa, Kingsley Lodge.  She established and practiced Bayside Realty for over 25 years. With her perseverance, determination and grit, she began developing properties on the south side of Lake McConaughy including Hidden Canyon, Bayside Golf, The Shores and The Ridges.

Bonnie spent her free time traveling and enjoyed golfing with friends and family.  She was an avid gardener and her favorite thing to do was watching all of her grandchildren’s sports and school activities.

Bonnie is survived by her husband of 35 years, Cliff Brown; her mother, Fairy Myers; her son Jason (Suzy) Hiltibrand, daughter Jodi (Erick) Castillo, daughter Shantel Nemecek, son Scott (Angie) Brown, daughter Kama (Casey) York and 11 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Myers, sister, Ruth Clark and brother, Daniel Myers.
