Bonnie Reynolds Lincoln, 67 of North East, MD, died Thursday, March 31, 2011 at Christiana Hospital, Newark, DE after a decade long fight against breast cancer.

Born in Havre de Grace, MD, on April 30, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Vernon and the late Dorothy Futty Reynolds.

She was an extremely hard and dedicated worker. She started her career as a legal secretary before becoming a secretary of Juvenile Services. She was a Top Sales Award Winning Realtor and had worked for W.L. Gore as a top salesperson covering most of the U.S. She also worked as a substitute English teacher.

Bonnie enjoyed cooking, baking and knitting sweaters. She loved animals and adopted and cared for many mentally and physically challenged animals. She was also a fan of Ravens football and a Jimmy Buffet Parrothead. Most of all she loved her two kids and was interested and active in every facet of their lives.

She was a lifelong Democrat, keeping up with current events, politics and was passionate about Healthcare Reform. She was a master at solving problems, kind, forgiving and always looking out for the underdog. Bonnie had a great deal of class and elegance. She liked to laugh and could always find the silver lining.

Survivors include her children: Lisa Potter and her loving companion Phil Bartoshesky of Hector, AR and Steven Potter and his loving companion Melissa McKinney of North East, MD. She also fostered girls whom she helped raise and prepare for their careers: Ilia, Adrianna, Melissa and Gladys.
