Bonnie L. Mohler, 95, of Liberty Center, Ohio passed away July 1, 2023. Bonnie was born on January 2, 1928 to the late Delos and Gladys (Kiger) Bowers in Liberty Center, Ohio. She married Merrill “Ted” Mohler on November 30, 1947 and they were married for 73 years before he preceded her in death on October 5, 2021.
For over 50 years, Bonnie owned Bonnie’s Beauty Shop and enjoyed being a hair dresser and taking care of all her clients. Bonnie was a member of the Liberty Chapel Church where she was involved in many activities over the years. She was a long-time member of the Liberty Center American Legion Auxiliary. She was a volunteer at Henry County Hospital, and enjoyed going to the Henry County Senior Center. Bonnie and Ted were honored in 2018 by the Henry County Senior Center at the Henry County Fair as one of the longest married couples in the county.
Bonnie is survived by her daughters: Linda (Jim) Vollmar, Louise Dalton, Sharon (Bill) Sharpe; son Dave (Karen) Mohler; 11 grandchildren- Tammy (Tom) Oelkrug, David (Sarah) Sharpe, Keith (Kim) Kern, Kara (Joseph) Langston, Kenzy (Madison) Kern, Sarrah (Norm) Zeiter, Scott (Kristin) Sharpe, Emily (Nick) Hill, Todd (Carrie) Mohler, Kevin (Denise) Mohler, Jason (Darcie) Mohler and step-grandchild Matt (Jamie) Vollmar; 45 great grandchildren,12 step great great grandchildren, and sister-in-law Sue Bowers. Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ted, step-granddaughter Amy Bryant, and siblings: Pauline, Treva, Jane, Frances, Howard Chuck, and Vernon.
