Bonnie L. Lattin, 73, of 75 Crestmont Street, Cogan Station, died Friday, December 24, 2010 at her home following a brief illness.

Bonnie retired from Textron in 1994, was a member of First Baptist Church and loved to read and yard sale.

Born August 24, 1937 in Olean, NY, she was the daughter of William and Betty McKenzie Nichols.

Surviving are sons, Thomas M. Lattin and Timothy A. Lattin, both of Cogan Station; a daughter, Teri D. (John) Spillman of Cocoa, Fla.; brothers, William Nichols of Olean, N.Y. and Joseph Nichols of N.C.; sisters, Barbara Wooster of Stuart, Fla., Beverly Greene of Antes Fort and Betty Denning of Bradford; seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

Bonnie was predeceased by her husband, Thomas A. Lattin and brothers, Curtis and Stephen Nichols.

Bonnie was able to share her final Christmas Eve with her sons, Tom and Tim, and dear friends Leo Wheeland, Scott and Loretta Widing and children, and Nicki Gough as they sang Christmas Carols to her until her final rest at 10:45 p.m. Bonnie was also known to frequent the Burger King on Maynard Street and visit with her friends Ken and Angie, and the Burger King Staff.
