Muncie – Bonnie F. “Mema” Carpenter, 62, passed away Monday, September 17, 2012, at her residence following an extended illness.

Bonnie was born in Albany, Kentucky on January 7, 1950, the daughter of Webb and Clara (Mullens) Guinn, and was a graduate of Southside High School.

Mrs. Carpenter was a member of Abundant Life Christian Fellowship.

Survivors include her husband, Carlos C. Carpenter; three sons, D. J. Bolin, (wife-Tammy), Losantville, Skeet Carpenter, Muncie, and Dustin Carpenter, Muncie; two daughters, Tabitha Polson, (husband-Charles), Muncie, and Michelle Haupt, (husband-Mike), Muncie; a brother, Jackie Guinn, (wife-Nancy), Muncie, a sister, Sondi Cooper, (husband-Lanny), Lebanon, Tennessee; thirteen grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a son, Bruce Carpenter, three brothers, Don, Carlos, Richard, and Jonny Guinn, two sisters, May Perry, and Pudden Pickering.
