Bonnie Rose Brown, 78, was born October 4, 1935 in Ault, Colorado to William Henry and Anna Elizabeth Green Glidewell. Bonnie passed away June 12, 2014 at her daughters home in Hobbs, New Mexico. Bonnie grew up in Ault and then moved to Sterling, Colorado in her senior year, where she graduated from high school. She married Air Force Staff Sergeant Dale W. Brown on December 20, 1952 in Ault, Colorado. Bonnie worked in Wenatchee, Washington, Roswell, New Mexico, and Hobbs, New Mexico for the Kmart Corporation for 23 years. She worked almost 20 of those years in Roswell, fifteen of them as Personnel Director. She retired from Kmart in 1997.

Bonnie was a member of First Baptist Church of Hobbs. She played the piano growing up and played for her Berean Sunday School class the past few years. Bonnie loved to cook and try new recipes. She enjoyed sewing and making cherished mementos for her family. She loved music. She was especially fond of the marching band music. She loved going to her grandchildrens band competitions and performances. She also cherished listening to Christian music the hymns and vocal harmonies. Bonnie was an avid reader. Her interests included biographies and Christian inspirational and devotional readings. She was a treasured wife, mother, Nana and friend.

Bonnie is survived by her husband, Dale of Hobbs one son, Jimmie Dale Beverly of Wenatchee, Washington, one daughter, Janet Berry Wendell of Hobbs one sister De Lambert Dave of Wellington, Colorado one grandson, Aaron Berry of Hobbs two granddaughters, Mindi Tercero Michael of San Angelo, Texas and Laura Brown of Wenatchee, Washington.

Bonnie is preceded in death by three sisters, Edna Capron, Louise Doughty, Doris Nelson and one brother, Roy Glidewell.
