It is with tremendous sadness that we announce the passing of Bonnie (Bateman Parr) Sorensen formerly of Montpelier, Idaho. Bonnie passed away peacefully on Aug. 5, 2017 at the age of 82 surrounded by her family and shrouded in love.
Bonnie was born July 6, 1935. She was one of three sets of twins born to her parents. Her twin brother’s name was Robert (Bobby) Bateman, born in Logan, Utah. She was number 9 of 11 children that would continue to remain tight knit and close throughout their entire lives.
On December 18, 1954, Bonnie married Calvin Coolidge Parr. The two of them with bundle of joy Nola Parr, continued to grow their family with the birth of a son three years later, Wade Calvin Parr in 1957, followed by the birth of Shawn Robert Parr in 1959 and Boyd W Parr in 1967. Bonnie also gave birth to a daughter Sandi Jean with husband Clyde Sorensen in 1975.
She thoroughly enjoyed being a member of the Women’s Auxiliary.
