Bonnie Beatrice Watson
On Saturday, May 25, 2019, Bonnie B. Watson was peacefully called home to be with our Lord. Born on October 14, 1929 in Port Gibson, Mississippi, she was the sixth of nine children born to George L. and Lennie C. Johnson. Bonnie received her education from Piney Woods Country Life School in Rankin County MS.
In 1948, Bonnie moved to Denver CO to live with her brother Edward. She attended Emily Griffith Technical College, and upon completion, started her career with the City and County of Denver, Treasury/Revenue department. She retired from the Treasury Department in 1993.
Bonnie spent her time pursuing various interests: she followed all sports, especially her local teams – the Denver Broncos, Colorado Rockies, Denver Nuggets, and the Colorado Avalanche.
