Bonnie Abel, loving wife of the late Alexander J. Abel passed on December 5th. She was born in Chadron Nebraska in 1922 and moved to Lincoln after her family lost their farm due to the great dustbowl. She met and married her husband Al in Lincoln Nebraska and while he served as a bombardier in Korea she was raising her son Doug and her daughter Nancy. She eventually moved with her family to Fairfield CT in the late 50’s and developed her network of friends via the local Elks Club, # 2220 where she became a charter member of the Emblem club. She was known by all as an excellent seamstress and a loving and caring mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
