Bobby Simmons, 62, of 128 Sacramento Road, Eutawville, departed this life on Wednesday, November 12th at his residence.
Mr. Bobby Simmons, was born in Charleston, SC on July 5, 1950 to the late Pauline Simmons-Nelson and Willie Brown. He was raised in Eutawville, SC by his grandparents, the late Edward and Carrie Simmons. He entered into eternal rest on November 12, 2014.
He attended the public schools of Orangeburg COunty District 3. He was employed at Lee’s Masonry in Cross, SC where he worked for over 25 years.
Bobby was a great father and grandfather who loved his family, worked exceptionally hard, and never failed to provide. He was a man of few words, but anyone who knew him, knew that he had a big heart and he definitely showed it through his acts of kindness.
On April 1, 1971, Bobby married Sarah Bell James, and they were blessed with three children.
Bobby is survived by his loving wife, Sarah Bell Simmons; three children, Angela (Joseph) Jenkins, Bobby Simmons (the late Dorothy Simmons), and Pauline Hazelton; two aunts, Daffie Washington and Katie Simmons; six grandchildren, Audriana, Antionette, Shante, Britney, Brianna, and Jayden; four great grandchildren; and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
