Bobby R. Lansdown, age 86, of Morocco, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 in Crown Point.
Bobby was born on May 24, 1934 in Mount Carmel, Illinois, the son of Jessie R. and Thelma L. (Doan) Lansdown. He married Rosemarie Siekierski on May 28, 1955 in Chicago, Illinois. She preceded him in death on February 23, 2018.
Bobby was a machinist for over 45 years at LTV Steel in East Chicago. He is a proud U.S. Army Veteran, a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church in Rensselaer, and a member of the Griffith Masonic Lodge #735 in Griffith, Indiana.
Bobby is survived by his son, 4 grandsons, 2 great-grandsons, sisters, Phyllis Schroeder of Lowell, IN and Nancy (Chris) Mihas of Highland, IN and many loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his son, William Lansdown and his sister, Shirley DuVall.
