Bobby Quick age 64 passed away Sunday, March 1, 2009 after a brief illness with his daughter by his side.
He was born on July 7, 1944 in Rock City, Il the son of Raymond and Cecilia (Cosgrove) Quick. Robert married Donna F. Paul on April 17, 1965.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Cecilia, and brothers William and James. He attended school in Rock City and Dakota, Il. After school he worked as a carpenter/painter and drove milk truck in the Rock City/Dakota area.
Robert is survived by a son Timothy (Jeri) Quick and a daughter Laura (David) Bremmer, both of Dakota, Il, grandchildren Jenny, Robbie, TJ, Derrick, Tiffany, and Briana, a great grandson Ashtian, five sisters Jeanette Meinert, Davis, Il, Janice Jones, Oregon, Il, Dorothy (Terry) Kerlin, Freeport, Il, Nancy (Dave) Condon, Stillman Valley Il, Debra (Joseph) Tripalin, McFarland, WI and many nieces and nephews. Bobby was very involved with his children and grandchildren he enjoyed spending time with them. Bobby was an avid gardener, he shared his vegetables with his friends and family. His secret horseradish recipe was locally famous and will be carried on.
He will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.
