Bobby L. McMillan, 79, of Lapel, passed away on January 12, 2022, at his daughter’s home in Fishers. He was born on April 5, 1942, in Kingston, TN, the son of Ralph and Carrie McMillan. Bobby was born and raised in the hills of Tennessee. He graduated from Lenoir City High School. In 1962 he moved to Lapel to work at Brockway Glass (Owens-Illinois), where he retired after 39 1/2 years of service.
Bobby was a devoted family man who was an avid fisherman and enjoyed traveling, his favorite destination being Mexico Beach, FL. Bobby loved to story tell, joke, and make people laugh. He was a charter member of the Lapel Eagles Aerie #4323.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, Ralph, Bill, Betty, Ronnie, Jack, and Diane. Bobby is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Betty (Spiker) McMillan, Lapel; his daughters, Stephanie (Earl) Smith and Michelle McMillan, both of Fishers; his grandsons, Connor and Nolan Stidham; his brothers, Charles McMillan, Sr. (Dotty), Noblesville, and Larry McMillan (Paula Fischer), Lexington, KY; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
