Mr. Bobby L. Evans, 70, of Southbury died Wednesday February 18th at Mid State Medical Center in Meriden. He was the husband of Joanne (Messina) Evans. Mr. Evans was born July 2, 1938 in Maquoketa, Iowa a son of the late Cecil W. and Inez D. (Bowman) Evans.
Bobby was a United States veteran having served as Staff Sergeant in the Army Intelligence. He worked for the Defense Industry at Lockheed and Northrop – Gruman. Some of the special projects he was involved with included the Hubbel Telescope, Mars Viking Lander and the Malstar Tower Projects implementing air traffic control systems.
