Bobby Joe Story 1935-2014 Bobby Joe Story, age 78 of Newnan, passed away on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at Tanner Medical Center. He was born on Oct. 7, 1935 in Coweta County to the late Earnest and Mary (Langley) Story. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by grandson, Josh Story.
He was a member of Elim Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Story of Newnan; sons, Sam & wife Vanessa Story of Waleska,GA; and Charles Story of Franklin, GA; Grandchildren; Tracy Marie Story, Breann Story, Justin Story, Jessica Story, and Patricia Story.
He is also survived by his sisters, Shirley (Charles) Weber and Virginia Yarbrough and brother-in-law, Sid Wade and wife Mary Bell and sister-in-law Syble (Don) Ross of Carrollton, GA.
