Bobby Hunter Thompson, age 83, went to be with his Lord and Savior on August 4, 2020. He was born in Coweta County May 2, 1937 and was the son of the late John William and Nellie Kate Hunter Thompson. Bobby worked in the accounting department of The Bonnell Company for over 35 years and retired in 1999. Bobby was a life long member of White Oak Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church where he served as a Deacon and Elder and was honored with Elder Emeritus status in 2018. He also served as church treasurer for over 25 years. Surviving Bobby is his wife of 58 years, Alma Jane Kirk Thompson, his daughter Kathy Thompson and son Kirk Thompson. He is also survived by his brother Elwood Thompson and his wife Mary Jane. There is a larger extended family of nieces, nephews and cousins.
