Bobby G. Fite, 74, Anderson, died August 27, 2004, at his residence after an extended illness.
He was born June 5, 1930, in Elwood, Indiana, and lived most of his life in this area He retired from Delco-Remy in Anderson after 19 yrs of service. He served his country in the Army during the Korean War He was a member of American Legion Post #127 – Anderson.
He is survived by his daughters, Vicki Maley of Alexandria and Diane husband, Rick Dean of Anderson; son, Scott wife, Chasity Anderson of Anderson; sister, Jan Fite companion, Hank of Alabama; brother, Bill wife, Flo Fite of Ohio; three grandchildren, Dakota Spade, Steven Anderson & Jessica Dean; two great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Kaufman Fite, on August 2, 1994; and his parents, Ted & Adeline Hanchier Fite.
