Bobby Dana Mullins, 58, passed away Sunday, February 7, 2021, at home and in the loving arms of his wife, Rebecca.

He was born and raised in Letcher County, KY, and was a lifelong fan of UK basketball. He moved to Florida approximately 35 years ago and worked in landscaping and maintenance until his retirement in 2017. Bobby loved the outdoors and being near any water he could find fish in.

In 1999, he married his best friend and fishing partner, and the love of his life, Rebecca Lynn Vaida. In 2004, Bobby and Rebecca welcomed their only child, Sarah Ann Mullins, into the world and she immediately became the brightest light in their lives. Bobby made many friends throughout the years.

His sense of humor and endearing character always drew people towards him. Although he never forgot his lifelong friends and family he left behind in beautiful Appalachia and enjoyed many visits with them, both in Kentucky, Tennessee, and Florida.

Bobby is survived by his wife of 21 years, Rebecca Lynn; their daughter Sarah Ann; his mother-in-law Patricia Vaida; sisters Susie and Tammy; brothers Jeffrey and Jacky; and many beloved nieces and nephews and their families.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jasper and Delores Mullins; sisters Vicky (Jill) and Patty; brothers Larry, Terry, and Monty; and his father-in-law, Charles T. Vaida.

He will be remembered with love by many, especially his best friends Mitchell Arrowood (KY) and Maynor Barrientos (FL), who were as close to him as brothers.
