Mr. Bobby W. Bishop, 78 of Cottondale passed away unexpectedly at his home on Monday July 23, 2012. He was a Korean War Veteran, serving in the U.S. Navy aboard the U.S.S. Pollux. Bobby enjoyed bass fishing as a lifelong hobby. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Marion and Dennis Bishop. Mr. Bishop is survived by his wife, Mae Pumphrey Bishop, three sons, Robert and wife Lynn, Michael and wife Donna, and Russell, three grandsons, Justin and wife Nicole, Myles, and Kelsey, one granddaughter, Nicole, and great grandson Tayler.
