That smile… oh how we miss that smile! Bobby never met a stranger. He brought Christ’s love and sunshine everywhere he went with his huge smile and infectious laugh. If you really wanted to make him belly laugh, just sneeze; it was the funniest thing to him. And when Daddy Beau and their buddies played pool in the garage, he would explode with joy.
Bobby entered his mortal life on November 27, 1990, at Shands Hospital in Gainesville, FL and he was subsequently nicknamed “Baby Gator.” He attended Beulah Baptist Church and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Crescent City Branch. Bobby also attended E. H. Miller School for 18 ½ years, graduating in 2012. He overcame many trials in this life, and we are grateful to our Heavenly Father for every one of his previous 31 years. Bobby will always and forever be our “Angel Boy.”
On December 2, 2021, at Baptist Medical Center South in Jacksonville, FL, Bobby took his final breath, passed through the veil, and ran into the loving arms of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Among the many family members and friends awaiting his arrival: were paternal grandparents, Ferrin and Ida Louise Grimes, maternal grandparents, Emerson and Helen Lugibihl, and five uncles. He is survived by his loving parents, Keith Grimes and Mary and Beau Scurrey, brother, JR Grimes (Michelle), sister, Karrie Anderson (Zach), stepbrother, Beau Adkins (Jolie), nieces and nephews, Jacob, Kyle, Reagan, Emily, Will, Adam, Waylan, and Holt, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, as well as his very special girl, Natasha “Tasha” Corbett and faithful companions Chevy and Yota.
