Bobbie Z. Davis, age 81, of KY 801 North, Morehead, went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 25, 2018, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead.
Born April 10, 1937, in Rowan County, he was the son of the late Felix and Nannie Charles Davis. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Russell Davis, Chalmer Davis, and Hayward Davis, and two sisters, Ethel Caskey and Christine Combs.
Bobbie is survived by his wife of 61 years, Loretta Hyatt Davis, whom he married January 11, 1957; two sons, Rick (Dianna) Davis of Morehead and Roger (Linda) Davis of Ringos Mill; grandchildren, Melissa (Dallas) Montfort, Amanda (Jamie) Brashear, Derek (Rachael) Davis, Gene (Tosha) Johnson; and great grandchildren, Hannah, Jonah, Isaiah, Bailey, Dillon, Maeleigh, Addyson, and Noah.
Also surviving are two sisters, Faye Pelfrey of Morehead and Elsie Lewis of Virginia; several nieces and nephews; and many friends.
