Bobbie Ray White, 82 of Centralia, passed away Monday, November 19, 2018, at Centralia Manor. He was born February 20, 1936, in Clinton County, the son of George S. White and May Magoline (Walker) White. He married Shirley Beckley on November 4, 1961, in Mt. Vernon and she survives in Centralia. In addition to his wife of 57 years, Shirley White of Centralia, he is also survived by five children: David White and wife Cheryl of Irvington, Richard White of Centralia, Gary White of Centralia, Tracy Gonzalez and husband Rudy of Centralia, and Dedy Slack and husband Don of Texas; 18 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; two brothers and four sisters: Ruby Peleaz and husband Pete of Centralia, George White of Centralia, Linda Donoho of Centralia, Judy Sassorossi of Centralia, Doug White and wife Cynthia of Dix, and Lisa Shoemaker and husband Jim of Centralia; a sister-in-law: Joyce White of Centralia; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, step-mother: Dorothy Garland White, two brothers: Mark White and Kenneth White, a sister: Lana Wernsman, and two brothers-in-law: Gene Donoho and Robert Sassorossi. Bobbie enjoyed working as the Owner and Operator of White Brothers Salvage for 34 years. He served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the American Legion Post 446, V.F.W. Post 2055 and a Life Member of AMVETS. He was also a member and Past President of the Bears Local #1. Bobbie’s greatest enjoyment was spending time with his family and friends.
