Bobbie Jean Sansom, 87, went to the Lord peacefully surrounded by family and friends on Friday, June 28, 2019 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, TN..M..M….. Mrs. Sansom was born on February 4, 1932 to the late John Dock and Mossie Mae Starnes. Bobbie was a banker for First National Bank of Oxford and had many friends and colleagues. She also worked in property management for Overstreet Properties. Bobbie was a member of North Oxford Baptist Church and attended the same Sunday school class for decades. Most importantly she was an outstanding wife married for 62 years and an outstanding mother.. She also loved to bake and was often known locally as “The Cake Lady”. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Wayne Sansom.
