Bobbie Gaynell Pitts, 95, of Temple. Mrs. Pitts died Friday, January 25, 2013 in a Temple Hospital. Mrs. Pitts was born September 22, 1917 in Comanche County, the daughter of B. R. and Ruby (Swann) Tate. She grew up in Tahoka, Texas where she graduated from High School.
She married Henry Kirk Pitts March 7, 1937 in Roby. They lived in Tahoka, Ackerly, Muleshoe and Hughes Springs before she moved to Temple in 1995. She was preceded in death by her husband, November 13, 1986. Mrs. Pitts is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law: James and Lynette Pitts of Lubbock, John and Macky Pitts of Midland and Aubrey and Jennifer Pitts of Temple; one daughter and son-in-law Lyna Pitts and John Hasandras of Salado, nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
